Nazila Yavari  

Nazila holds a doctoral degree in Physics with a specialized research focus on the application of lasers and lights for cancer diagnostics and treatment control, earned from Norway. Additionally, she has obtained a master’s degree in theoretical atomic physics from Norway and another master’s degree in technology engineering from Sweden.
With extensive experience in leading, facilitating, administering, coordinating, and executing national and international academic and industrial projects, Nazila has been at the forefront of driving innovation, enhancing quality, and optimizing efficiency. Her expertise extends to various sectors, including the public, private, and non-profit spheres, with diverse experiences in hospitals, academia, industry, and public services across multiple countries, from the Middle East to Europe, and ultimately to Canada.
As a Member of the Board of Directors of a non-profit professional association representing over 2000 newcomer professional immigrants in Canada, Nazila has played a collaborative role in providing opportunities for members to immerse themselves in the Canadian experience. She has been instrumental in planning and promoting mentoring, training, and networking platforms, with core objectives centered on leadership development, career enhancement, and community engagement. Throughout her involvement, Nazila has remained steadfast in prioritizing principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the organization.
Nazila’s practical experiences includes research roles associated with undergraduate and graduate students, both within university hospitals and technology & science faculties. Furthermore, she has served as an academic adviser and pre-submission peer reviewer, and she has authored and co-authored numerous published research articles.
At her current role as a project manager, Nazila demonstrates a profound dedication to leadership and management, coupled with her commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for diverse professionals. Through her valuable contribution, she continues to make a significant impact in the professional spheres.
