Mitra Arami

Mitra Arami is an Associate Professor of Digital Business and Project Management at Northeastern University London. She also serves as an external examiner at Bournemouth University. Throughout her career, she has held various roles, including Solution Architect, Consultant, Programme and Project Manager, Partner, Head of Institute, and Managing Director. Specialising in guiding complex business change and transformation solution programmes, her professional path has spanned diverse global multinational environments across industries such as Telecom, Financial, IT, Education, and Gaming on three continents.

Her approach involves leveraging an in-depth understanding of rapidly evolving markets, advanced negotiation skills, and thought leadership capabilities to offer foresighted insights and implement growth strategy recommendations at the executive level. Mitra holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems with Distinction from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria, and an MSc and BSc in Computer Science, both from the Technical University of Vienna.

Mitra has acquired certifications and completed training in areas such as Business Process Engineering, Project Management, Systemic Coaching, ITIL, CRM, Project Management Training, PRINCE2, and Scrum Master. As a Full Member of the Association for Project Management (APM), UK, the Chartered Management Institute; BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, Project Management Institute (PMI), and the International Project Management Association (IPMA), she is actively involved in the industry.

Serving as an APM judge for the best PhD award in Project Management reflects her dedication to advancing the field. She has also contributed as an International Project Management Award Assessor, Project Management Trainer, Consultant, and Coach, aiming to drive substantial advancements in the industry and foster continuous improvement in people, processes, and systems.
