Karla Tankersley is an engineering technology leader with over 20 years of experience in logistics and retail transformations. Karla’s experiences include automation solution leadership in fashion and grocery, leadership of Store of the Future designs with three Fortune 500 companies and systems design and implementation in distribution and retail environments. Karla’s experiences are truly omni spanning direct to consumer, buy online and pickup in-store, ship from store, wholesale, and retail.

Karla has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial systems engineering, master’s in business administration and currently pursuing her PhD in Technology at Purdue University. She is developing her research in how technology can assist and serve people with intellectual disabilities to enhance their ability to live more independent lives. Karla has earned several awards from the Society of Women Engineers and among Top Women in Grocery.
